Trimbach Pinot Gris Alsace Reserve, 2004:
Always a quality producer, this wine coats the palate with a waxy orange sensation and flavors and integrated with a hint of florality and smoke. Nice crisp acidity picks up from there to tie it all together. $19.99 is a great price for this style and still has a few good years left at its prime.

I have some ’07 Kabinett from this producer and it is just lovely. This style is rich yet lively with wonderful lime notes and beautifully integrated minerality and acidity. Drink now or over the next 15 years (if you can saved some to taste how these wines mature). $22
