This is the first in a several part series of interviews with Piero, discussing here the greatness of the Sangiovese grape and the special terroir of the Chianti region.

I so enjoyed this brief interview with Piero Antinori. I’ve been a fan of sangiovese for such a long time because of the ability to pair it with such a variety of foods (especially some of the vegetarian entrees that can be a pairing challenge at times). What a treat to hear about it from a such a well-known master.
