Cheval Blanc, owned by the LVMH group and based in St. Emilion, is world renown for its Cabernet Franc:Merlot blend. The estate has been guided by managing director Pierre Lurton for two decades now, producing one outstanding vintage after another. Translated as “white horse”, Cheval Blanc continues to accel under the creative direction of Pierre. Pierre also manages the world renown Chateau d’Yquem Sauternes estate for LVMH.
During our visit with him, we tasted the 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2010, all phenomenal wines worthy of any cellar. In this video, we taste and talk about the 2000, a wine that is just coming into its own with a hint of age and a long, long life ahead.
